Nyssa

The debut episode of Reimagined, a VR anthology spotlighting folklore tales through immersive storytelling — directed and produced by Julie Cavaliere and Michaela Ternasky-Holland. I was responsible for the majority of the Quill work on the project, including concept art, painting of characters and environments, most of the animation, as well as camera direction and editing. Nyssa was a visually rich and emotionally layered story that pushed the expressive limits of VR illustration and motion.

Collaborating with world-class artists on an emotional journey

Working on Nyssa was a unique opportunity to shape nearly every visual and narrative layer of a VR experience. With full trust from the creative leads, I was able to approach the project holistically — from early visual development to final edit. It became a deep exploration of how hand-painted motion can carry story, emotion, and cultural depth.
